Happy Easter!

Around this time last year, we were preparing to move here to Annapolis. In fact, the 18th will be one year that we've lived in our house.  And I'm happy to say that now that Spring is in the air, it's getting as beautiful as it was when we arrived!

This is my view walking home from the office. Sherman Field on Hospital Point.

Easter is kinda special to me because of family traditions centered around my Mom, but it's extra special this year because this was the first holiday Matt and I shared together as husband and wife.  Last year, it was just the two of us, having a nice dinner in our (mostly) unpacked house.  This year, we've got Adam, one of our sponsor plebes, with us, and we're going to spend it with family in the area. (And because we have Adam this year, I had to make him an Easter basket!)

Aren't those jelly bean eggs so cute?
I've been baking all day, and I just wanted to show a few of the goodies that we'll be eating for Easter.

True, I don't ice like my Mom, but I'm working on it!

That's an orange bunny standing up, by the way...
