Settling in

We saw some really pretty scenery as we drove.

We even got to make a stop on the way to see a friend.  But now we have arrived at our destination!


Hubby and I are settling in, which mainly consists of lots of unpacking.  We've gotten our furniture and household goods.  We've bought a washer and a dryer, and tomorrow we get internet and cable! 

Though, that may not be the best thing since we may spend our free time watching tv and surfing the net as opposed to finishing unpack and set up the house.  Oh well.  Too late now.

On the road again...

I can definitely wait to get on the road again.

We're in the hotel, packing up.  We've eaten our free breakfast, fed and watered the girls, and now we're getting ready to leave.  The good news is that we'll be stopping in a few hours to visit with a friend of mine.  We'll have lunch at a Thai place near her apartment and then be back on the road.

Yesterday we traveled 650 miles yesterday.  We've got 500 today, and 340 tomorrow.  And luckily, the girls have been traveling well.  Let's just hope it continues...

On the move

Tomorrow morning we head out on the road.  Pru, our Jack Russell Terrier, and Beanie, our Chihuahua, are nervous but excited to go.  Should be fun to make the drive and start in a new town.
